Chris took his first dive into real estate in 2009 when he and his wife bought a rental property for $18,000 with their personal savings. With no real estate experience, and little money left over, Chris took on management of the property himself around his full time printing business. In 2012, with a few more rentals under his belt, Chris picked up his real estate license and launched Mayfair Real Estate LLC to help people to invest in multifamily apartment buildings.
Fueled by a mission “to improve the lives of thousands of people through responsible real estate investing and management,” Chris has consistently grown Mayfair over the past 10 years. He has overseen many large-scale renovation and repositioning projects. The rewards are more than monetary: taking run down and mismanaged apartment buildings and bringing them back to life creates better homes, stronger communities, and improved neighborhoods.
Today, Chris and his team manage a real estate investment portfolio of about 500 apartment units, and he has helped his clients acquire more than $100MM of multifamily and residential investment properties in the South Florida market. Chris has a passion for helping others to be successful in real estate because he has experienced the impact it has made in his own life.
Outside of real estate, Chris enjoys traveling with his wife, creating art, hiking, and hitting the beach for early morning workouts.
Alex Tiburzi is a South Florida native who started his career in real estate in 2017. He initially started a land investing business that bought and sold vacant land all over Florida. In his first year as an investor, he was able to use some of the savings he had from school to buy and flip over $50k worth of land.
In 2019 he decided he wanted to take his career to the next level; multifamily real estate. He started that transition from the ground up, as a leasing agent at Mayfair. Since then, he’s worked his way up to leasing manager and is now responsible for the leasing of over 500 units all over South Florida. His background in real estate gave him the ability to excel in the position. He enjoyed being able to start with leasing, as rental income is the backbone of multifamily investment. It gave him a unique perspective on the rental market of South Florida.
Alex is also a part of the Mayfair Real Estate team. As an agent, he closed over $3 million dollars in transaction volume in his first year. One of the main reasons he’s enjoyed working in the space is that every day presents new challenges and opportunities. He has a long-term goal of helping as many people as possible in building their real estate portfolio, as well as his own. Alex enjoys reading, eating out, and spending time outdoors in his free time. He’s also written a number of articles about real estate that you can find on our website.
